Adam International Clinic located in the heart of Cairo, El Mohandessin is the first specialized hospital in the field of severe male infertility, and Prof. Dr. Medhat Amer is one of the pioneers in the field of reproductive biology, microsurgical treatment of male infertility and assisted conception. He is an Ex-consultant of Andrology and assisted conception in Paris University Hospital (1985 - 1992), and staff member in Cairo University since 1992.
Our team works in close co-operation with Cairo University Andrology Department, Gynaecology Department and other international teams having interest in the following lines of research:
- Seminal predictive factors of focal spermatogenesis in cases with functional azoospermia
- Optiizatin of testicular sperm extraction techniques, (microsurgical, surgical needle).
- Male cryobiology for severe male factor.
- Spermatogenic cell culture for azoospermic patients.
- Electroejaculation and management of ejaculatory disorders.
- Male genetic disorders related to infertility
- Preimplantation genetic diagnosis
- Microsurgical techniques in male infertility management

Many of our research works have been published in many of the national and international journals concerned with male fertility mainly in the HUMAN REPRODUCTION journal published by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology by Oxford University press, Oxford, UK where Dr. Medhat Amer is one of the journal referees.
